With a total elevation gain of 1805 meters, this route packs a serious climbing challenge into a relatively short distance. The ride features demanding ascents and technical descents, winding through alpine scenery, peaceful villages, and breathtaking mountain views.

The elevation ranges from 484 meters to 1304 meters, making it a great test of legs and lungs—just like a real Grand Tour stage. Perfect for those who enjoy climbing and want to feel the spirit of the Tour de France up close.

As always, full on-route support will be provided, with a support vehicle, cold drinks, snacks, and good vibes throughout the day. What a way to kick off the adventure!

Day 2 (THU 31/07) > Brides-les-Bains > Albertville > Barrage de Roselend > Brides-les-Bains

Distance: 130km | Elevation Gain: 2280m | Time: 5h00 | Climbs: Col du Meraillet 4.5km  6% and Col du Cormet > 20km / 6%

Day two raises the bar with a 129.3 km ride through some of the most scenic and challenging terrain in the French Alps. Starting from Brides-les-Bains, the route heads north to Albertville before climbing toward the stunning Barrage de Roselend, one of the iconic climbs in the region.

The elevation profile is serious, with a total ascent of 2,274 meters and a peak altitude of 1,967 meters. Riders will pass through valley roads, long climbs, and sweeping descents—ideal terrain to test endurance and enjoy panoramic views of the Alps.

From a low point of 341 meters, the ride climbs steadily to the summit area near the Roselend dam, known for its turquoise waters and breathtaking alpine setting. The route finishes back in Brides-les-Bains, closing out a big mountain day with a sense of achievement.

This is a long, scenic, and demanding route, perfect for riders chasing that true Tour de France feeling.

Day 3 (FRI 01/08) > Brides-les-Bains > Val Thorens > Col de la Loze > Brides-les-Bains

Distance: 118km | Elevation Gain: 3800m | Time: 5h00 | Climbs: Val Thorens 36km / 5.2% and Col de la Loze > 21.5km / 8%

This is a big one. Day 3 delivers a true alpine test with 117.5 km of riding and a massive 3,738 meters of total climbing—a day that will push every rider to their limits.

Departing from Brides-les-Bains, the route first climbs toward Val Thorens, one of the highest ski resorts in Europe. From there, the challenge intensifies with the legendary Col de la Loze, peaking at 2,293 meters above sea level. This climb has earned its reputation in recent Tour de France editions for its steep gradients and unpredictable rhythm.

Starting from 528 meters, riders will tackle long, sustained climbs and technical descents, all while surrounded by the jaw-dropping scenery of the French Alps. The loop finishes back in Brides-les-Bains—if your legs make it.

This is a true queen stage. A high-mountain epic for those who live for the climb.

Day 4 (SAT 02/08) > Brides-les-Bains > Col de la Madeleine > Brides-les-Bains
Ride the mountain. Watch the pros.

Distance: 80km | Elevation Gain: 1850m | Time: 4h00 | Climbs: Col de la Madeleine > 25km / 6%

Day 4 combines legendary riding with a front-row seat to Tour de France history. The route covers 79.7 km with 1,866 meters of climbing, taking us from Brides-les-Bains to the iconic Col de la Madeleine — a mountain pass etched into the lore of the Tour.

From a starting altitude of 427 meters, the route climbs all the way to 1,989 meters, finishing at the summit just in time to catch a good spot and watch the stage 8 of the Tour de France Femmes, which ends right here on top of the Madeleine.

This isn’t just a ride — it’s a celebration of cycling. We’ll tackle the same climb as the pros, then cheer them on as they race to the top. Expect energy, emotion, and unforgettable views.

After the stage finish, we descend back to Brides for a well-earned rest. It’s a day of effort, inspiration, and pure Tour de France magic.

Day 5 (SUN 03/08) > Brides-les-Bains > Tignes > Brides-les-Bains
Finish strong in the shadow of legends.

Distance: 135km | Elevation Gain: 2500m | Time: 5h30 | Climbs: Barrage de Tignes > 25km / 6%

We close out this unforgettable cycling adventure with a grand finale: a 134.6 km route from Brides-les-Bains to the alpine town of Tignes and back. With 2,520 meters of climbing, this is one of the longest and most rewarding rides of the week.

The road to Tignes, sitting at 2,138 meters above sea level, is no stranger to Tour de France drama. In 2019, Tignes was set to host a stage finish when a freak hailstorm and landslide forced the stage to be neutralized mid-race—leaving fans and riders stunned. Two years later, in 2021, it finally got its spotlight, with Ben O’Connor taking a career-defining solo victory after a punishing day in the Alps.

From our base at 484 meters, we climb through alpine valleys, past turquoise lakes, and into high mountain terrain with sweeping views and switchbacks worthy of any Tour highlight reel.

The descent back into Brides offers a final chance to soak in the landscape and reflect on a week of big rides, iconic climbs, and the spirit of the Tour. There’s no better way to end a cycling journey.

Day 6 (MON 04/08) > Check out and… Au Revoir!
